The Photo Layouts flyout has several collage and layout options. Place your photo into a prearranged template, such as Photo Packages, Group Photos, Comic Book Pages, Photo Albums, Posters, and Edge Effects. Each category offers many template styles. The Collage options allow you to create a collage of several photos or parts of photos. Interesting results can be obtained if some of the images have special effects or edits applied prior to the creation of the collage or layout. |
If there are no photos loaded into the Library, they can be individually loaded after the photo layout has been started. To load photos into the layout, select Add Photo from the File menu.
To find the tools:
Click the Projects button on the Navigation panel.
Select the Photo Layouts flyout.
The Photo Layouts Flyout:
Collage from Current Photo allows you to create a collage based on the existing open photo.
Collage from Other Photo will present the Open dialog, prompting you to load a photo to base the collage upon.
Photo Package will present a layout template of several photo sizes on a single page. Place different photos or several copies of the same photo on the page.
Group Photos allows you to place many photos arranged in rows. These templates are ideal for a class photo.
Comic Book Pages offers templates arranged in a comic book style. Place photos in the template, then add word balloons and text using the Word Balloon and Text tools.
Photo Albums offers templates arranged in a photo album style. Place photos in the template, and add text under each photo using the Text tool.
Posters offers many styles of artistic posters to place your photos in.
Edge Effects presents many styles of artistic borders to place your photos in.
